Making the Grade was developed with the staff from DSC and Cinnabar, based upon California state science standards for 4th and 5th graders. The exhibit was developed for the grand opening of the Discovery Cube Los Angeles. The interactive elements were designed to be used individually or as a group and travel between two DSC locations.
The exhibit contains a series of fun and engaging physical interactives using mechanical and electromechanical elements. Visitors learn about waves, atoms and molecules, earth’s features, constellations, animal and plant adaptations, erosion, energy transfer, earthquakes, water and ecosystems.
Red Cape Studio was hired to develop content and design concepts for the interactive elements in the exhibition.
